Mwana tragically lost her son, and Fatuma lost her brother, to a heroin overdose. This is their story.
“We used to try to convince him to stop drugs. But he would say, ‘How can I stop when, after I use drugs, I am able to go out? I can earn my keep.’ He never used to steal or mugged anybody, but the police would arrest him anyway.”
