Anyone’s Child meets Chris Daw QC

We’re delighted to present the latest in our ‘Meet the Experts’ series of films where we interview leading professionals whose work has led them to question our current prohibitionist approach to drugs.

Chris Daw is one of the most notable barristers in the country having practised law for over 25 years. In this short film he talks about his work on numerous drug cases throughout his career and how this has led him to question the status quo and think about how we might reduce the harms of the drugs trade.

Chris is now supporting the Anyone’s Child campaign in calling for the legal control and regulation of the drug market. As he concludes:

“I can foresee a situation where we have a legalised, licensed and regulated drug market in Britain because it’s the only way you get rid of some of the harms that we are seeing in such great numbers across our country today.”
