Join our Activist Network

The Anyone’s Child family network is supported by activists keen to help change public opinion around drug policy and encourage more MPs to support legal regulation.

Our regional activist networks campaign to raise awareness and pressure local and national decision makers on issues of drug policy reform. Come and join in, meet new people, learn new things, get inspired… everyone is welcome!

Key functions of the network:

• We hold an annual lobby day in June to encourage MPs to speak out in favour of legal regulation. Each year we are looking to build in numbers and ensure that more MPs are met – we know that our activists are very persuasive and many have helped to persuade their MP to engage in this debate. We also offer support and guidance as we recognise the prospect can be daunting.
• The network also supports Transform’s local reform programme (a campaign aimed to encouraging diversion schemes, drug checking , heroin assisted treatment and safe injecting facilities). Activists assist by supporting local events to raise the level of debate around drug policy reform.
• Attend regular meetings and training workshops to equip yourself with the language and necessary skills to make the case for reform.
