10th Anniversary Events and Lobby of Parliament

24th of June 2025

Anyone’s Child: Families For Safer Drug Control hosted an event at Church House, Westminster to mark 10 years of the campaign.

Families, activists, friends and colleagues from the across the UK came together calling for an urgent review of the Misuse of Drugs Act, as leading drug policy and harm reduction organisations united and supported the event and showcasing their work with workshops, stalls and training.

Powerful speeches from families, activists and leading drug policy experts called for urgent change to harmful drug laws before people from all over the UK met with their MPs across all political parties.

And Just like 10 years ago 6 bereaved family members visited 10 Downing Street to deliver a letter, this time for Kier Starmer

And we will keep coming back until we see change!

If you weren’t able to attend the lobby, you don’t have to wait until next year to get involved and take action.
See below for details on how you can make a difference

The second event of the day, held in The Houses of Parliament, provided an opportunity for MPs to come and listen to why we are urgently calling for the legal regulation of all drugs
